- •1 cup egg white protein powder (unflavored or pure chocolate with no artificial sweeteners)
- •1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- •1/2 cup creamy almond butter or cashew butter (unsweetened, no seed oils)
- •1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- •1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- •1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- •1/4 cup water or unsweetened almond milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- 1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white protein powder and raw cacao powder.
- 2.In a separate microwave-safe bowl, gently melt the nut butter and coconut oil together until smooth. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla.
- 3.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. If the dough is too crumbly, add water or unsweetened almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches a thick, moldable fudge consistency.
- 4.Press the mixture firmly and evenly into an 8x8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- 5.Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars. Keep stored in the fridge.
