Recipe
Ingredients
- •1 bunch lacinato kale
- •2 tablespoons coconut oil
- •sea salt
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your oven to 300F. Wash your kale and pat it completely dry. Seriously, any leftover moisture equals soggy chips—salt them only after baking!
- 2.Tear or chop the kale into 2-inch chips and melt your coconut oil.
- 3.Toss the kale in a large bowl with the melted oil, massaging it gently to ensure every single leaf surface is lightly coated.
- 4.Spread the kale across 2 or 3 baking sheets in a single layer. Give them plenty of breathing room—no crowding!
- 5.Bake for 20 minutes until crispy. Pull them out, dust with sea salt to taste, and let them cool completely to reach maximum crunch before storing in an airtight container.
