- •3 cloves garlic
- •3 green onions
- •1 tablespoon coconut oil
- •10 ounces frozen spinach
- •1 pound ground chicken
- •1 teaspoon dried oregano
- •1 teaspoon dried basil
- •2 teaspoons coarse sea salt
Instructions
- 1.Mince your garlic cloves and finely chop the green onions.
- 2.Heat the coconut oil in a sauté pan over medium. Flash-fry the garlic and green onions for 2 minutes to unlock the flavors—don't let that garlic brown! Pull it off the heat.
- 3.Thaw your frozen spinach, squeeze every single drop of excess water out of it in a clean kitchen towel, and mince it finely.
- 4.In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the ground chicken, sautéed aromatics, minced spinach, dried herbs, and sea salt. Shape the mixture into clean patties.
- 5.Sauté or grill the burgers over medium heat until they reach an internal temp of 160F and are cooked all the way through. Serve immediately!
